British Geological Survey Library Catalogue (GEOLIB)
International in scope, but an essential source for UK geological literature since journal articles on British geology are indexed as well as books, which are often missed by international databases.
Handy hint: many entries for UK material are linked to the geological map sheet that covers the area. To search for information on an area use the keyword search and type in the three digit sheet number preceded by EW (England & Wales); ES (Scotland) or IR (Ireland). e.g. for information on Scottish sheet 30 (Glasgow District), type ES030 into the Keyword Search Box.
